    The five key criteria for evaluating an adsorption dryer—and basic limitations for selection—are: inlet flow, inlet temperature, inlet pressure, inlet relative humidity, and outlet dew point.

  • The system should be designed based on the maximum flow rate, but average flow should be considered to ensure operational stability.

  • Temperature and moisture content increase in a staged quadratic manner, and adsorption is subject to upper temperature limits (heatless type: 49°C, heated type: 38°C). If energy savings are a priority, segmented drying design can be applied depending on the inlet temperature and specific needs.
    At inlet temperatures of 35℃ and 25℃, moisture content can differ significantly (almost double), and the heat released during adsorption also doubles—therefore, adsorption efficiency cannot be equal in design.

  • Pressure is usually a fixed requirement with low variability, so pressure drop must be considered during equipment selection.

  • Even for the same model, adsorption efficiency varies with differences in relative humidity.
