High-Pressure Regeneration Energy Saving

High-pressure regeneration energy saving:

(1) Whether heating or cooling, the dry compressed air from the outlet is used.
(2) The regeneration airflow is recovered using a pressurization method.

  • Using CDA for the entire regeneration process can avoid contamination of the adsorbent by oil vapor, acidic substances, and moisture in the atmosphere during regeneration, thereby extending its service life.

  • Using CDA for the entire regeneration process is relatively costly.
Therefore, under high pressure, a pressurization method is used to overcome the pressure drop in the process path, and a recovery method is used to exchange the energy-saving method of zero CDA loss with the smaller power consumption of the booster. With this method, both adsorption efficiency and dew point quality are improved. Because the regeneration exhaust gas is recovered, the burden on the inlet becomes relatively large, so this factor must be considered during design. In addition, the recovered high-pressure exhaust gas also carries the concern of high temperature.
Safety considerations for equipment operation under high temperature and high pressure must be emphasized.
